English - Transliteration

Sorah At-Takwir ( The Overthrowing ) - Verses Number 29

إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ ( 1 )

Itha ashshamsu kuwwirat

وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انكَدَرَتْ ( 2 )

Wa-itha annujoomu inkadarat

وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ ( 3 )

Wa-itha aljibalu suyyirat

وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ ( 4 )

Wa-itha alAAisharu AAuttilat

وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ ( 5 )

Wa-itha alwuhooshu hushirat

وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ ( 6 )

Wa-itha albiharu sujjirat

وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ ( 7 )

Wa-itha annufoosu zuwwijat

وَإِذَا الْمَوْءُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ ( 8 )

Wa-itha almawoodatu su-ilat

بِأَيِّ ذَنبٍ قُتِلَتْ ( 9 )

Bi-ayyi thanbin qutilat

وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ ( 10 )

Wa-itha assuhufunushirat

وَإِذَا السَّمَاءُ كُشِطَتْ ( 11 )

Wa-itha assamao kushitat

وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ ( 12 )

Wa-itha aljaheemu suAAAAirat

وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ ( 13 )

Wa-itha aljannatu ozlifat

عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا أَحْضَرَتْ ( 14 )

AAalimat nafsun ma ahdarat

فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ ( 15 )

Fala oqsimu bilkhunnas

الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ ( 16 )

Aljawari alkunnas

وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ ( 17 )

Wallayli itha AAasAAas

وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ ( 18 )

Wassubhi ithatanaffas

إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ ( 19 )

Innahu laqawlu rasoolin kareem

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ ( 20 )

Thee quwwatin AAinda theealAAarshi makeen

مُّطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ ( 21 )

MutaAAin thamma ameen

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ ( 22 )

Wama sahibukum bimajnoon

وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ ( 23 )

Walaqad raahu bilofuqialmubeen

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ ( 24 )

Wama huwa AAala alghaybi bidaneen

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَّجِيمٍ ( 25 )

Wama huwa biqawli shaytaninrajeem

فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ ( 26 )

Faayna tathhaboon

إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ ( 27 )

In huwa illa thikrun lilAAalameen

لِمَن شَاءَ مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ ( 28 )

Liman shaa minkum an yastaqeem

وَمَا تَشَاءُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاءَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ ( 29 )

Wama tashaoona illa anyashaa Allahu rabbu alAAalameen
