English - Transliteration
Sorah Al-Masad ( The Palm Fibre ) - Verses Number 5
تَبَّتْ يَدَا أَبِي لَهَبٍ وَتَبَّ ( 1 ) 
Tabbat yada abee lahabin watab
مَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُ وَمَا كَسَبَ ( 2 )
Ma aghna AAanhu maluhuwama kasab
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍ ( 3 )
Sayasla naran thatalahab
وَامْرَأَتُهُ حَمَّالَةَ الْحَطَبِ ( 4 )
Wamraatuhu hammalata alhatab
فِي جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌ مِّن مَّسَدٍ ( 5 )
Fee jeediha hablun min masad

Snuggled in a warm and cozy bed, how difficult it is to get up at the call of Mu’adhdhin: “Come to prayer, come to success.” The famous doctor and philosopher Ibn Sina (Avicenna), recalls such a moment in his life. A little while later, the melodious sound of the Adhan filled the air. Avicenna began to think about the person calling the believers to prayer.
