English - Transliteration

Sorah Al-Fil ( The Elephant ) - Verses Number 5

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ ( 1 )

Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka bi-as-habialfeel

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ ( 2 )

Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleel

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ( 3 )

Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeel

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ( 4 )

Tarmeehim bihijaratin minsijjeel

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ ( 5 )

FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin ma/kool

A little while later, the melodious sound of the Adhan filled the air. Avicenna began to think about the person calling the believers to prayer.

The Rights of ParentsIslam recognizes family as a basic social unit. Along with the husband-wife relationship the Parent-child relationship is the most important one.
