English - Transliteration

Sorah Al-Fil ( The Elephant ) - Verses Number 5

أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصْحَابِ الْفِيلِ ( 1 )

Alam tara kayfa faAAala rabbuka bi-as-habialfeel

أَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي تَضْلِيلٍ ( 2 )

Alam yajAAal kaydahum fee tadleel

وَأَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا أَبَابِيلَ ( 3 )

Waarsala AAalayhim tayran ababeel

تَرْمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٍ مِّن سِجِّيلٍ ( 4 )

Tarmeehim bihijaratin minsijjeel

فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَّأْكُولٍ ( 5 )

FajaAAalahum kaAAasfin ma/kool

He does not beget, nor is He begotten. There is no equal to Him, and there is nothing like unto him, and thus He alone deserves to be worshipped.
