Sorah Al-Ghashiya ( The Overwhelming ) - Verses Number 26
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ ( 1 ) 
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ ( 2 )
[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,
عَامِلَةٌ نَّاصِبَةٌ ( 3 )
Working [hard] and exhausted.
تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً ( 4 )
They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.
تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ ( 5 )
They will be given drink from a boiling spring.
لَّيْسَ لَهُمْ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٍ ( 6 )
For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant
لَّا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِن جُوعٍ ( 7 )
Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.
وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ نَّاعِمَةٌ ( 8 )
[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.
لِّسَعْيِهَا رَاضِيَةٌ ( 9 )
With their effort [they are] satisfied
فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٍ ( 10 )
In an elevated garden,
لَّا تَسْمَعُ فِيهَا لَاغِيَةً ( 11 )
Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.
فِيهَا عَيْنٌ جَارِيَةٌ ( 12 )
Within it is a flowing spring.
فِيهَا سُرُرٌ مَّرْفُوعَةٌ ( 13 )
Within it are couches raised high
وَأَكْوَابٌ مَّوْضُوعَةٌ ( 14 )
And cups put in place
وَنَمَارِقُ مَصْفُوفَةٌ ( 15 )
And cushions lined up
وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبْثُوثَةٌ ( 16 )
And carpets spread around.
أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى الْإِبِلِ كَيْفَ خُلِقَتْ ( 17 )
Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
وَإِلَى السَّمَاءِ كَيْفَ رُفِعَتْ ( 18 )
And at the sky - how it is raised?
وَإِلَى الْجِبَالِ كَيْفَ نُصِبَتْ ( 19 )
And at the mountains - how they are erected?
وَإِلَى الْأَرْضِ كَيْفَ سُطِحَتْ ( 20 )
And at the earth - how it is spread out?
فَذَكِّرْ إِنَّمَا أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٌ ( 21 )
So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.
لَّسْتَ عَلَيْهِم بِمُصَيْطِرٍ ( 22 )
You are not over them a controller.
إِلَّا مَن تَوَلَّىٰ وَكَفَرَ ( 23 )
However, he who turns away and disbelieves -
فَيُعَذِّبُهُ اللَّهُ الْعَذَابَ الْأَكْبَرَ ( 24 )
Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.
إِنَّ إِلَيْنَا إِيَابَهُمْ ( 25 )
Indeed, to Us is their return.
ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا حِسَابَهُم ( 26 )
Then indeed, upon Us is their account.

- Guarding the TongueBefore you is a chapter from the great book "Al-Adhkaar" of the Imam and great scholar of the seventh century, Abu Zakariyyah Yahya ibn Sharaf an-Nawawi. The chapter is entitled "Hifdh-ul-Lisaan" or "Guarding the Tongue." The original source, "Al-Adhkaar," is one of the prize works of Imam an-Nawawi in which he compiles and discusses the texts related to what is recommended and forbidden from speech, focusing on al-adhkaar (words of remembrance) and al-ad'iyah (supplications). In the last part of the book, as he explains, Imam an-Nawawi devotes a chapter to what is forbidden and disliked from speech, such as backbiting, gossiping, and slander. So he brings the evidences from the Qur'aan and Sunnah on the obligation of guarding the tongue from evil speech. This great work was checked and verified by Shaikh Saleem ibn 'Eed al-Hilaali and printed in two volumes. In his verification, Shaikh Saleem provides a grading for each hadeeth as well as a discussion about the reason for the hadeeth's authenticity or weakness. Due to a desire to make the e-book a source of easy reading and benefit, the verification of hadeeths have been limited to just the grade that Shaikh Saleem al-Hilaali has provided and the references of the hadeeth sources they can be found in, while abridging his discussions of certain hadeeths in some places.
