Sorah Az-Zalzalah ( The Earthquake )

Sorah Az-Zalzalah ( The Earthquake ) - Verses Number 8

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ( 1 )

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,

وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ( 2 )

And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),

وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا ( 3 )

And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ( 4 )

On that Day will she declare her tidings:

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا ( 5 )

For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ ( 6 )

On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ ( 7 )

Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ ( 8 )

And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it.

English Technical Terms for Da'wahThis is a useful book although it is small. It contains some technical terms for da'wah in English. No doubt all scholars and callers to Islam in English are in much need to something like that to conveys the right message of Islam to all those speak English.
